About the position

Telnet Solutions Inc. is seeking a full-time Project Coordinator to oversee various projects related to security, fire alarm, and low voltage cabling in new construction multi-family and hospitality buildings. The role involves close collaboration with project managers to develop action plans that address resources, budgets, and timelines, ensuring projects are completed efficiently and effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in project design meetings and propose improvements if necessary.
  • Evaluate potential problems and technical hitches and develop solutions.
  • Plan and manage team goals, project schedules, and new information.
  • Supervise current projects and coordinate all team members to keep workflow on track.
  • Manage project-related paperwork by ensuring all necessary materials are current, properly filed, and stored.
  • Direct project correspondences by preparing and reviewing project proposals, memos, meeting minutes, and emails.
  • Communicate with clients to identify and define project requirements, scope, and objectives.
  • Adhere to budget by monitoring expenses and implementing cost-saving measures.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Project Coordinator or similar role in construction or related fields.
  • Strong understanding of project management principles and practices.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.

Nice-to-haves
