About the position

Genesis10 is currently looking for a Coordinator to manage software license agreements for a 12-month contract for a large client in either Denver, CO or Minneapolis, MN. This role is specific to Software Asset Management, where the team member will work directly with internal technical teams, internal business teams, sourcing, vendors, software publishers, and other groups in the management and delivery of software tools to the user community. The primary responsibilities will focus on the financial processing of software purchases and software renewals, with the objective of timely processing in a cost-efficient manner. The Coordinator will manage the end-to-end renewal process for an assigned list of software titles, collaborating with resellers, vendors, sourcing, and internal product owners to obtain quotes used in the purchase and renewal processes. This includes reviewing quotes for completeness and accuracy, processing quotes in Microsoft SharePoint, and updating and managing the accuracy of software records in the ServiceNow software contracts database. The Coordinator will also monitor the progress of procurement requests and purchase order generation, ensuring that they are completed in a timely fashion and processed with accurate financial treatment. Additionally, the role involves managing questions and requests from the user community, ensuring effective communication and support. This position requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a strong ability to collaborate across various teams to drive innovation and business results. The Coordinator will play a crucial role in ensuring that software asset management processes are efficient and effective, contributing to the overall success of the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end renewal process for an assigned list of software titles.
  • Work with resellers, vendors, sourcing, and internal product owners to obtain quotes used in the purchase and renewal processes.
  • Review quotes for completeness and accuracy.
  • Process quotes in Microsoft SharePoint.
  • Update and manage accuracy of software records in the ServiceNow software contracts database.
  • Monitor the progress of procurement requests and purchase order generation, ensuring that they are completed in a timely fashion.
  • Ensure that the requests are processed with accurate financial treatment.
  • Manage questions/requests from the user community.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Technology, Business, or a related field.
  • Five years of related functional experience.
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Requires a working knowledge/experience with industry standard financial management applications; SAP experience is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Strong relationship management and collaboration skills; with a track record of working cross-organizationally to drive innovation and business results.
  • Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel/Word/SharePoint software.
  • Experience with IT procurements, contracts, and similar.
