About the position

The Project Coordinator for Sports at Warner Bros. Discovery plays a crucial role in supporting the CSSU Projects Team within the TNT Sports Production Services & Operations Team. This position is responsible for overseeing postproduction scheduling, ensuring that creative resources are effectively allocated to various projects, and maintaining communication with internal and external partners. The coordinator will drive projects to completion while adapting to the fast-paced environment of sports production.

Responsibilities

• Oversee postproduction scheduling for various groups within TNT Sports.
• Communicate scheduling changes in a timely manner to all stakeholders.
• Maintain an understanding of partner needs to ensure appropriate resources are assigned to projects.
• Monitor editorial staff usage to optimize capacity and manage costs.
• Assist in managing PTO requests from editors and sound designers.
• Create and actualize work orders and projects in Media Pulse.
• Track expenses and communicate freelance postproduction costs.
• Contribute to awards and presentation processes as needed.

Requirements

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Extremely organized and detail-oriented.
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Some knowledge of sports is preferred.
• Flexibility to work unconventional hours and travel as needed.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in project management or production coordination.
• Familiarity with Media Pulse or similar project management tools.
