About the position

The Switchgear Bid Coordinator at U.S. Electrical Services, Inc. is responsible for coordinating bids related to electrical products, ensuring that estimators have the necessary specifications and drawings. This role involves maintaining documentation, tracking departmental activities, and generating sales reports, with opportunities for growth and performance-based bonuses.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with manufacturers on upcoming bids to ensure all specifications and drawings are available for bid proposals.
  • Ensure Switchgear estimators receive quotations from manufacturers for bids.
  • Maintain daily filing of bids and closed projects.
  • Track departmental leave.
  • Responsible for the monthly Switchgear Department sales report.
  • Assist with generating project close-out documentation.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the manager.

Requirements

  • College degree preferred but not required.
  • Electrical product knowledge is a plus.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Previous experience with Microsoft Office Suite, Office 365, and Point.
