About the position

The Project Coordinator will play a crucial role in supporting and coordinating paint projects from the initial contract phase through to job completion. This position requires a proactive individual who can manage various aspects of project coordination, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively. The Project Coordinator will be responsible for ordering and managing submittals, as well as color verification, which is essential for maintaining project quality and client satisfaction. Additionally, the role involves procuring paint and preparing job scope documents for work crews and subcontractors at the start of each job. Effective communication is key in this role, as the Project Coordinator will need to relay project scope information to employees and subcontractors as necessary. The position also entails the delivery of materials to job sites, managing the supply of sundries inventory, and maintaining regular communication with customers to ensure their needs are met throughout the project lifecycle. The Project Coordinator will assist with change orders and other data entry tasks, providing support as needed for office staff to ensure smooth operations. This is a full-time position with a typical schedule of Monday to Friday, 8 hours a day, from 5:30 AM to 2:30 PM. The role is based in the office and may involve multiple locations depending on project requirements. The pay range for this position is between $18 to $24 per hour, depending on experience, with opportunities for growth within the company.

Responsibilities

  • Provide support and coordination for paint projects from contract through completion.
  • Order and manage submittals and color verification.
  • Order and manage the procurement of paint.
  • Prepare job scope documents for work crew and subcontractors at job start.
  • Communicate project scope information to employees and subcontractors as needed.
  • Deliver materials to job sites as needed.
  • Manage supply of sundries inventory.
  • Maintain regular communication with customers.
  • Assist with change orders and other data entry tasks.
  • Provide support as needed for office staff.

Requirements

  • Experience with computers and proficiency with Microsoft Office and Outlook.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced changing environment.
  • Works well under pressure and in collaboration with others.
  • Experience with Knowify and/or Procore is a plus.
  • Knowledge in paint is a plus.
  • General familiarity with invoicing and accounts receivable.

Nice-to-haves

  • Spanish language skills preferred.
