About the position

The Project Coordinator at Amistades, Inc. is responsible for coordinating and implementing community intervention models and best practices. This role involves engaging with project participants, managing data collection, and promoting the agency's mission through various activities, including social media and grant writing. The position requires strong organizational and communication skills, as well as the ability to work independently and collaboratively within the community.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and implement the intervention model/curriculum/best practices in the community.
• Assist in the recruitment and retention of project participants.
• Travel regularly to the project's service site, meeting locations, and participant homes.
• Administer and collect required agency and project data.
• Participate in staff development activities.
• Attend project meetings and supervision sessions.
• Prepare and submit all project reporting.
• Maintain all data (electronic and hard copy) including participant files and resource materials.
• Incorporate Chicano history and culture into programming.
• Promote agency mission, vision, and philosophy.
• Participate in social media on an ongoing basis.
• Participate in grant writing.
• Perform other administrative and business office duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in social work, social services, public health, or equivalent education and experience.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish preferred.
• Consent to drug testing.
• Current automobile insurance in the amount of $100,000/$300,000.
• Proof of full COVID-19 vaccinations.
• Reliable transportation.
• Valid Arizona Driver's License.
• Valid Arizona Department of Safety Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card.
