In this position, the Project Coordinator will assist with various administrative tasks, including the preparation of Promotion and Tenure (P&T) packets, letters of recommendation, and reappointment paperwork. They will also act as a backup for content management on the department's website and respond to invitations for speaking engagements and job shadowing requests. The Project Coordinator will oversee travel arrangements for faculty, process reimbursements, purchase orders, and manage departmental purchasing needs. Additionally, the Project Coordinator will participate in team planning meetings, support projects and special events from initial planning to implementation, and provide logistical support for events. This includes identifying and arranging event locations and vendors, overseeing the production and distribution of project materials, and tracking project milestones and timelines. The role also involves providing staff support to committees, including preparing agendas, scheduling meetings, and documenting minutes. Overall, the Project Coordinator is essential in ensuring that the department operates smoothly and efficiently, contributing to the overall mission of UAMS to improve patient care and the lives of Arkansans.
