About the position

The Project Coordinator at SERVPRO of Augusta plays a crucial role in managing and coordinating restoration projects, ensuring that customer needs are met during challenging situations involving fire and water damage. This position requires strong organizational and communication skills, as well as the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment. The coordinator will be responsible for monitoring job files, creating estimates, and maintaining client communications, all while contributing to the company's mission of making damage 'Like it never even happened.'

Responsibilities

• Monitor job file status and job file audit status
• Maintain job file WIPs
• Monitor and ensure client requirements are followed
• Review and validate initial field documentation
• Create preliminary estimates
• Daily job file coordination, including preparing job file reports, performing job file backup, and completing job file audit process
• Maintain internal and external communications
• Complete and review job file documentation for final upload and the audit process
• Perform job close-out

Requirements

• 2+ years of administrative or office-related experience
• Experience in the commercial cleaning and restoration or insurance/service industry
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (i.e. Outlook, Word, Excel)
• Minimum of HSD/GED, Associates/bachelor's degree preferred

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with writing estimates, job file processes, and quality assurance
• Ability to learn new software, including Xactimate and proprietary software
