About the position

ECS is seeking a Project Coordinator to work in our Bethesda, MD office. In this role, you will collaborate with federal senior leadership to plan and execute high-priority programs and projects, providing essential project management and coordination support. Your responsibilities will include supporting senior-level, high-profile scientific meetings, which entails taking meeting minutes, tracking action items, preparing materials, and managing related logistics. You will also provide support for high-visibility strategic programs by developing and maintaining MS Project schedules, dashboards, and reports. Additionally, you will be responsible for developing project SharePoint sites and maintaining content for various client projects. Conducting ad hoc presentations on project management templates and guides will also be part of your duties. Furthermore, you will coordinate efforts across other administrative roles and support the Program Manager in managing junior administrative support staff.

Responsibilities

  • Work with federal senior leadership to plan for and execute high-priority programs and projects.
  • Support senior-level, high-profile scientific meetings, including meeting minutes, action item tracking, materials preparation and related logistics.
  • Provide support for high-visibility strategic programs including developing and maintaining MS Project schedules, dashboards, and reports.
  • Develop project SharePoint sites and maintain content for various client projects.
  • Conduct ad hoc presentations on project management templates and guides.
  • Coordinate efforts across other administrative roles and support Program Manager with management of the more junior administrative support staff.

Requirements

  • At least 6 years of relevant experience
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in lieu of degree (client must approve)
  • Experience in Microsoft Office Suite to include MS Project
  • Experience planning executive travel, managing schedules, and coordinating with other executive admins
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including reports and presentations
  • Strong organization and prioritization skills
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, collaborative and results-driven environment
  • Ability to build and manage client relationships at all levels
  • Ability to think strategically to effectively assess clients' situation and assemble solutions to meet needs
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or Green-Card Holder to obtain a Public Trust Clearance
