About the position

The Project Coordinator position is a critical support role within the IS team, located onsite in Rancho Cucamonga, CA. This is a 6-month assignment with the potential to transition into a full-time position. The primary responsibility of the Project Coordinator is to assist the supervisor and other team members throughout the entire project lifecycle. This includes managing various aspects such as project scope, schedule, communications, risk, resources, quality, costs, and change management. The Project Coordinator is expected to provide first-class customer service that is accurate, effective, and timely. In this role, the Project Coordinator will assist in the implementation and execution of projects, offering both administrative and logistical support. This includes coordinating various events related to project planning, scheduling, reporting, communication, ordering, installation, and follow-up. The coordinator will also participate in managing the personnel required to complete the project and will handle the paperwork associated with multiple technology projects. Additionally, the Project Coordinator will maintain and update status logs and contribute to progress reports that are produced for clients and management. A minimum of 4 years of experience in a similar role is required.

Responsibilities

  • Assist supervisor and team members with all aspects of projects throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Provide administrative and logistic support for project implementation and execution.
  • Coordinate various events related to planning, scheduling, reporting, and installation.
  • Manage paperwork related to multiple technology projects.
  • Maintain and update status logs and contribute to progress reports for clients and management.

Requirements

  • Excellent administrative skills with hands-on experience.
  • Ability to multi-task and support multiple individuals effectively.
  • Strong organizational and detail-oriented skills.
  • Thorough facilitation and follow-up capabilities.
  • Exceptional hands-on experience with MS Office applications, particularly MS Excel at an intermediate to advanced level (including Pivot tables, V-loops, formulas, data manipulation).
  • Experience with MS Teams at an intermediate to advanced level, including managing chats, posts, files, calendars, and meetings.
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in MS Word and PowerPoint for document creation and manipulation.
  • Experience in inventory analysis and coordination/management.
