About the position

The Project Coordinator role at a manufacturing company involves overseeing the planning, implementation, and evaluation of various projects to ensure their successful execution. This position is office-based and focuses on coordinating with vendors and internal teams to maintain project schedules and contractual obligations.

Responsibilities

  • Planning, implementing, and evaluating the smooth organization and successful execution of assigned projects.
  • Initiating, analyzing, and comparing written quotes from vendors such as venues, editors, and duplication companies.
  • Working with and supervising contracted vendors to optimize the execution of their services.
  • Keeping track of contractual obligations with vendors in a timely manner and initiating payment.
  • Working closely with the Project Manager and business development staff for smooth transitions of contacts, agreements, and expectations with vendors.
  • Maintaining a detailed schedule for each project of all essential activities and deadlines.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 2+ years of administrative/project coordination and/or order entry experience
  • Intermediate MS Excel skills (Excel test will be administered).
