About the position

CobbFendley is seeking an experienced Project Coordinator to join our team in San Antonio, Texas. Since 1980, we have been dedicated to providing innovative engineering and surveying solutions aimed at enhancing communities. Our multi-discipline approach allows us to efficiently complete projects through a team of experienced professionals who prioritize client communication. As a Project Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in supporting Project Managers and clients, ensuring that projects are executed smoothly and effectively. You will be responsible for maintaining detailed records, preparing project documentation, and assisting with various administrative tasks. This position requires a proactive individual who can manage multiple tasks while adhering to strict deadlines. You will also have the opportunity to engage with clients and local organizations, fostering relationships that contribute to our community-focused mission. In this role, you will become familiar with the business structure and processes, providing high-level support to Project Managers and clients. You will prepare weekly project reports, assist with filing and document preparation, and conduct independent research as needed. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to adapt to changing priorities. You will be expected to maintain a professional attitude and uphold CobbFendley’s safety standards while delivering accurate work products in a collaborative team environment. This is a full-time position with a standard work schedule from Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM CST.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-level support to Project Managers and Clients.
  • Maintain complete and detailed records/files with owner contacts, project costs, project issues, etc.
  • Prepare project weekly report documentation for clients including progress updates, meeting minutes, and schedule updates.
  • Assist with filing and document preparation for the department.
  • Prepare various project-related documents, reports, estimates, etc.
  • Perform independent research and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Work in a collaborative team environment and deliver accurate work products.
  • Adhere to CobbFendley’s safety standards to uphold a safe and efficient environment.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years office experience required.
  • Ability to handle multi-line phone system.
  • Proven self-starter with strong administrative and time management skills.
  • Ability to multi-task with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • General financial understanding and/or financial analysis experience.
  • Experience with multiple software applications such as MS Project, Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Technical prowess and ability to learn new software.
  • Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems.
  • Identify complex problems and review related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions.
  • Understand the implications of new information for both current and future problem-solving and decision-making.
  • Motivation to work in a dynamic environment with strict deadlines.
  • Desire to collaborate with professionals and clients to increase industry knowledge and grow in your career.
  • Commitment to perform responsibilities consistent with industry standards to achieve department and company goals.
