About the position

As a Project Coordinator at Star Construction, you will be responsible for coordinating all project-related operations to ensure timely completion in accordance with customer and industry specifications. This role involves managing project documentation, maintaining effective communication with stakeholders, and proactively resolving potential issues to ensure project success.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain and update project documentation
  • Manage various program tasks as assigned by management
  • Develop and maintain effective and complete project files (physical and/or electronic)
  • Obtain project specific information by maintaining customer contact
  • Assist the management team to ensure stakeholder notification and buy-in
  • Set up new projects
  • Proactively identify and actively work to resolve potential engineering design and permit issues before they become problems
  • Track project changes and scheduling delays, documenting the impact for future use
  • Assist the management team to minimize return site visits
  • Apply industry standard and project specific units to draw appropriate conclusions regarding units placed for production and billing accuracy
  • Collect and review all project documentation and submit to appropriate personnel in a timely fashion
  • Work directly or indirectly with Accounts Receivable and Billing personnel to ensure all revenue is accounted for and accurate
  • Utilize existing and/or send meaningful and timely reports to appropriate stakeholders using key performance indicators to aid in managing the health of the project
  • Constantly manage and monitor project progress, delays, and the quality of the customer experience

Requirements

  • At least 18 years old
  • Authorized to work in the United States
  • Ability to maintain a safe work environment
  • Experience with drilling equipment and understanding of their capabilities and limitations
  • Proficient in using locators to safely identify utilities
  • Experience with drill set up and design processes (preferred)
  • Ability to read and understand work orders, safety rules, and operating instructions (preferred)
  • Previous construction or utility construction experience (preferred)

Nice-to-haves

  • Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License with tanker endorsement
  • Acceptable MVR record
  • Ability to work in all weather conditions
  • Willingness to work overtime, after hours, on weekends, for emergencies or on-call
