You will be responsible for facilitating and coordinating the work of multiple project teams, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively. In this position, you will identify and work to remove barriers to the successful completion of the overall project, with particular emphasis on resolving issues with subcontractors. You will provide timely project status updates to the Project Managers, submitting for Cabinet resolution those problems and issues that cannot be resolved at lower levels. Maintaining and updating the company database will be part of your responsibilities, along with generating customized reports and pivot tables, utilizing VLOOKUP functionality. You will create and track contracts, purchase orders, submittals, and complete project close-out manuals. As the primary point of contact with external vendor representatives and functional consultants, you will handle all correspondence between the general contractor, owner, architect, and subcontractors. This role requires self-motivation, a willingness to learn, and professional communication skills via email and Teams. You must be a team player, willing to be a part of a cohesive team that values hard work and quality service.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate and coordinate the work of multiple project teams.
  • Identify and work to remove barriers to successful project completion, focusing on subcontractor issues.
  • Provide timely project status updates to Project Managers.
  • Maintain and update the company database.
  • Generate customized reports and pivot tables using VLOOKUP functionality.
  • Create and track contracts, purchase orders, submittals, and complete project close-out manuals.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact with external vendor representatives and functional consultants.
  • Handle all correspondence between the general contractor, owner, architect, and subcontractors.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or 5 years of equivalent work experience.
  • Project management skills with the ability to resolve complex problems and issues.
  • Strong experience with Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Construction background is preferred.
  • Purchasing experience is required.
  • Experience with Norad and Oracle is a huge plus.
  • Telecom experience is beneficial.
  • Skilled in organizing resources, establishing priorities, and working effectively in a collaborative team environment.
