About the position

The Project Coordinator plays a crucial role in the overall coordination of project management and delivery efforts within the organization. This entry-level position is designed for individuals who are eager to learn and contribute to the successful execution of various projects. The Project Coordinator will work closely with senior Project Managers to lead, coordinate, and complete projects, ensuring that all initiatives align with the company's strategic goals and objectives. In this role, the Project Coordinator will be responsible for providing project administration and facilitating the delivery of initiatives. This includes actively communicating with product/project teams and leadership members to gather updates, follow up on open items, and escalate any risks or issues that may arise. The Project Coordinator will also be tasked with updating and maintaining project and program information in the project management tool, Service Now PPM, and participating in the analysis and review of project deliverables. Additionally, the Project Coordinator will aid in managing project risks and issues, decisions, action items, and change requests. They will collaborate with Project and Program Managers to create and maintain project schedules, establish target dates, and ensure the completion of activities and deliverables, even under changing conditions. Scheduling and facilitating meetings, assisting Product Managers and Directors with status updates and reports, and leading small enhancement efforts as their experience grows are also key responsibilities of this position. The Project Coordinator may perform other duties as assigned, contributing to the overall success of the project management team.

Responsibilities

  • Provide project administration and delivery of initiatives, ensuring consistency with company strategy and goals.
  • Communicate actively with product/project and leadership team members, gathering updates and following up on open items.
  • Update and maintain project and program information in the project management tool (Service Now PPM).
  • Participate in the analysis and review of project deliverables, maintaining project documentation and managing the approval process.
  • Aid in the management of project risk and issue management, decisions, action items, and change requests.
  • Work with Project and Program Managers to create and maintain project schedules, establishing target dates and completing activities under changing conditions.
  • Schedule and facilitate meetings as needed.
  • Assist Product Managers and Directors with the compilation of various status updates and reports.
  • Support Product and Directors with reporting, demand management, estimate gathering, continuous planning, and resource management efforts.
  • Lead small enhancement efforts and projects as experience grows.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in project management methodology and practices.
