About the position

The Project Coordinator at Tri State General Contractors is responsible for supporting the Project Management team in overseeing construction projects. This role involves coordinating with various stakeholders, managing documentation, and ensuring compliance with project requirements. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction and excellent organizational skills to facilitate project success.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Management team in managing a construction project's process and procedures.
• Prepare and track GC Preliminary Notices, Insurance, Builders Risk and Payment & Performance bonds.
• Coordinate with government agencies to obtain permits.
• Prequalify subcontractors for compliance with company policies.
• Obtain and process project submittals.
• Track all owner and contractor supplied materials for delivery per construction schedule.
• Perform data entry for vendors, subcontractors, and subcontracts (Sage / Timberline experience a plus).
• Maintain continuous communication with Project Managers and Superintendents.
• Manage document control for construction drawings and specifications, including printing plan sets and maintaining current sets of drawings for subcontractor use.
• Maintain project tracking logs.
• Assist with coordination between field and office.
• Obtain project close-out documents as required and archive them.
• Maintain construction project files, both electronic and physical, throughout the life of the project.
• Manage all project logistics as directed by the Project Managers.
• Communicate with the Client's construction team to ensure their needs are met in a timely and cost-effective manner.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years in relevant construction experience
• Independently motivated and task driven
• Experienced in Applications (Excel, Word, Adobe)
• Communicative and a team player
