About the position

Position Title: Project Coordinator Location: Meridian, Idaho Employment Type: Part-Time (with potential for Full-Time) Reports To: Owner Pay: $20 an hour About Us: We are a small, dynamic sign shop specializing in custom signage solutions for businesses, events, and personal projects. Our focus is on delivering high-quality products with exceptional customer service. As we continue to grow, we're looking for a detail-oriented and organized Project Coordinator to join our team and help ensure the smooth execution of our projects from start to finish. Position Summary: The Project Coordinator will be responsible for managing the day-to-day coordination of sign projects, from initial client consultation through to installation. This role requires strong organizational skills, the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, and excellent communication skills to work effectively with clients, vendors, and the internal team.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate all aspects of sign projects, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and tracking progress.
  • Work closely with clients to understand their needs, provide estimates, and ensure their vision is realized through our products.
  • Develop and maintain project timelines, ensuring that all deadlines are met.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, keeping them informed of project status and addressing any questions or concerns.
  • Collaborate with design, production, and installation teams to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Coordinate with external vendors and suppliers to source materials and services as needed.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, work orders, change orders, and client communications.
  • Ensure that all projects meet our quality standards and client expectations.
  • Conduct final inspections and coordinate any necessary adjustments or corrections.
  • Assist with invoicing, purchasing, and inventory management as needed.
  • Support the Owner with any additional tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the shop.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree in business, project management, or a related field preferred.
  • Previous experience in project coordination, customer service, or the sign industry is a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and project management software.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Nice-to-haves

  • Knowledge of the sign-making process, including design, production, and installation, is a plus but not required.
