About the position

As a Full-time Project Coordinator at Fastenal, you will play a crucial role in our FMI (Fastenal Managed Inventory) Technology department. Your primary responsibility will be to coordinate the implementation lifecycle for our industrial vending machines, bin systems, and other FMI technology devices. This position requires you to manage various activities, including information discovery, collecting and reviewing documentation for accuracy, generating product planograms, and coordinating configuration and implementation activities. You will work closely with both internal and external team members to ensure that department goals and objectives are met while providing world-class service and support to the field and our customers. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the project lifecycle of multiple supply chain technology implementation projects. Effective communication with all project stakeholders via phone, email, and video communication will be essential. You will coordinate with project stakeholders to ensure that deliveries are met in a timely and accurate manner, review documentation for compliance with submittal standards, and maintain accurate records and project tracking. Your ability to demonstrate knowledge of business offerings, products, processes, and standards will be vital to your success in this position.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite
