About the position

As a Project Coordinator at Janus Henderson, you will play a pivotal role in the programme support team of the Operational Transformation function, which is responsible for leading large-scale global change initiatives. Your primary focus will be on ensuring alignment with the PMO (Project Management Office) for various transformation programme workstreams, as well as providing regional PMO support. You will be tasked with critical path management in collaboration with the Operational Transformation Support Manager, ensuring that all programme actions are followed up on and that any risks or issues are escalated appropriately. In this role, you will assist in running stand-up meetings and workstream meetings, manage dependency maps (both ingoing and outgoing), and review and consolidate workstream status reports. You will also support the Regional Programme Manager and the Transformation Support Manager by assisting with inputs for steering committee and board meetings. This position requires a proactive approach to managing project timelines and deliverables, ensuring that all stakeholders are informed and engaged throughout the process. Responsibilities

  • Align with PMO on large scale transformation programme workstreams and provide regional PMO support.
  • Manage critical paths alongside the Operational Transformation Support Manager.
  • Follow up on programme actions and escalate risks and issues as necessary.
  • Assist in running stand-up meetings and workstream meetings.
  • Manage dependency maps (ingoing and outgoing).

Requirements

  • Experience in working in a PMO function.
  • Excellent knowledge and experience with MS Project and planning discipline.
  • Proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Excellent writing and presentational skills.
  • Flexibility to take on a variety of tasks and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in working in asset management.
  • Certification in project management is desirable.
