About the position

The Project Coordinator will support the Office of Biomedical Advanced Research and Development Authority (BARDA) by providing project support and technical expertise. This role involves assisting BARDA-CBRN leadership in managing daily operations, ensuring project deliverables are met, and facilitating communication and reporting to senior HHS leadership. The coordinator will also be responsible for organizing files, managing meetings, and preparing reports and presentations.

Responsibilities

• Assist BARDA-CBRN leadership in supporting daily operations with an emphasis on meeting project/report deliverable deadlines.
• Manage assigned projects to completion and track deliverables, action items, and other requests.
• Develop and manage processes for providing routine and one-time reports to senior HHS leadership.
• Prepare draft and final reports, including formatting and document QA/QC for submission.
• Organize files, presentations, and other documents for easy access for future reporting requests.
• Work with Division Director and Deputy Director to respond to requests for new information/reports with rapid turn-around times.
• Develop and manage tracking sheets for tasks assigned to the Director and Deputy Director.
• Manage assigned meetings, including drafting agendas, handling logistics, taking meeting notes, and following up on action items.
• Review manuscripts, press articles, and other information sources to identify relevant information.
• Prepare advanced PowerPoint slides for presentations, including generating figures and tables from data.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• 4-6 years of progressive experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Clearance.
