About the position

The Project Coordinator at Watt Acquisition, LLC plays a crucial role in supporting project management by ensuring organized documentation, effective coordination, and seamless communication throughout the project lifecycle. This position is integral to the success of various projects, working closely with teams across the company, including estimators, project managers, general foremen, and vendors. The Project Coordinator is responsible for creating and maintaining project documentation, processing submittal packages, and ensuring that all project information is easily accessible through organized filing systems. Additionally, the role involves ordering blueprints, tracking materials, and coordinating procurement activities to ensure that projects are adequately supplied and compliant with all necessary regulations. The Project Coordinator is also tasked with applying for and purchasing permits as required for projects, maintaining these permits, and ensuring compliance with jurisdictional requirements. Scheduling inspections and coordinating with relevant parties is another critical aspect of this role. The Project Coordinator will coordinate internal and external meetings, manage meeting logistics, and facilitate communication among all stakeholders. Furthermore, the position requires adding and maintaining budgets in project management software, preparing presentations for meetings based on project budgets and progress, and ensuring the accuracy and confidentiality of employee information. As projects transition between phases, the Project Coordinator will create project handoff packets to ensure a smooth transition. The role also involves processing job closeouts to ensure that all documentation is complete and accurate, fulfilling Certificate of Insurance (COI) requests, and assisting Project Managers with various tasks and projects as needed. This position requires a proactive approach to managing tasks and a passion for driving results in a team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Prior experience in construction.
