About the position

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the planning, execution, and monitoring of projects.
  • Maintain project schedules, track milestones, and manage project documentation.
  • Serve as a liaison between project teams, stakeholders, and external partners.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration to ensure alignment and resolve any issues that arise.
  • Attend various meetings and take meeting minutes, following up on action items.
  • Assist with the setup and maintenance of projects using applicable management software.
  • Monitor and respond to the need for office administrative tasks.
  • Prepare and maintain project-related documentation, including project plans, progress reports, and meeting minutes.
  • Monitor project budgets and expenses, assisting in resource allocation.
  • Ensure that projects adhere to regulatory requirements, company policies, and industry standards.
  • Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Provide regular updates to project managers and stakeholders on project status, progress, and any issues or delays.
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as scheduling meetings, organizing project files, and preparing presentations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in life sciences, biotechnology, business, or a related field.
  • At least 2-3 years of experience in project coordination or management within the biotech or life sciences sector.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and Smartsheet.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills are required.
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills are preferred.
  • Able to effectively prioritize tasks.
