About the position

It is the contract vehicle for the Enterprise Infrastructure Services organization overseeing MPO's Enterprise Information Technology (EIT). EIT is MPO's backbone platform for all Enterprise users. Data Center & Compute Services is the EIS enabling organization working with customers, Integrated Product Teams (IPT), and vendors to deliver select EIT. Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Project Coordinator to join our team in Annapolis Junction, MD. As a Project Coordinator, you will help support the Program Managers on our prime program. You will work directly in the Program Management Office, providing various support to the project, including customer interaction, schedule support, budgeting support, timekeeping support, and taking meeting notes. You will interact with all levels within the PMO office, including contracts, finance, and subcontracts. Your responsibilities will include updating and maintaining the project/program schedule and deliverables, assisting in CDRL development, coordinating completion, review, and delivery, and managing the staffing process. You will also assist with office automation, processes, and efficiencies, proactively identify actions, and provide accurate, professional responses to the PMO. Additionally, you will track down information and prepare reports and/or briefs to send to the customer, ensuring exemplary customer service skills are demonstrated throughout your work. Other duties may be assigned as necessary to support the overall objectives of the program and the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Support Program Managers on the prime program
  • Provide customer interaction and schedule support
  • Assist with budgeting and timekeeping support
  • Take meeting notes and document discussions

  • Update and maintain the project/program schedule and deliverables

Requirements

  • One (1) year experience in managing projects and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university (additional years of experience may be substituted for a degree)
  • Experience in conducting requirements analysis
  • Experience in resource allocation, project costing, deliverable tracking, schedule and financial data monitoring and reporting

Nice-to-haves

  • Understanding of JIRA Workflows
  • Understanding of ITAR Regulations
  • Strong understanding of Excel and Word
  • Knowledge of guidelines provided by the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS)
  • Knowledge of DoD 5000 series and ICD 801 policies
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
