About the position

As a Project Coordinator at ENTRUST Solutions Group, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a comprehensive view of ongoing work to identify and recommend solutions for resolving work capacity issues efficiently, cost-effectively, and safely. Your primary responsibility will be to plan a multi-week work schedule across various regions, functions, or commodity areas. This involves evaluating work demands and prioritizing tasks based on several factors, including job priorities, resource availability, customer expectations, permitting requirements, and business unit guidelines. You will manage the availability and backlog of personnel, equipment, and materials over a multi-week timeframe, ensuring that work assignments are effectively allocated to crews across the region. This includes making decisions to reallocate resources as necessary to optimize contract and employee resource selection within the scheduling window, aiming to minimize costs while maximizing schedule adherence, customer satisfaction, safety, and compliance. Additionally, you will analyze scheduling and work assignment performance to forecast resource utilization for the upcoming quarter, identifying opportunities for resource reallocations and operational improvements. Facilitating monthly regional or area metric review meetings to evaluate performance will also be part of your responsibilities. Effective communication and collaboration with local supervisors and building strong partnerships with stakeholder groups at various levels will be essential to maximize productivity, utilization, and operational efficiency of all resources.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Associates Degree or equivalent experience.
  • 3 - 5+ years experience in construction, design, maintenance, or other operations area.
  • Proficiency with spreadsheet tools and the ability to retrieve and manipulate data from reporting tools.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or related field preferred.
  • Utility scheduling/planning experience preferred.
