About the position

Join our dynamic team at DSC as a Project Coordinator I, where you will play a pivotal role in revolutionizing foam engineering and shaping the future of the sports and footwear industry. This teammate will coordinate projects with major brands in the global footwear industry, including project scope, and liaising between local brands and our Asia-based offices and manufacturing facilities. You will be at the forefront of our strategic initiatives, passionately committed to providing athletes with exceptional comfort and unrivaled performance.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate and innovate with global brands, Tier 1 partners, DSC Project Managers, and Sales Teams to spearhead groundbreaking footwear projects.
  • Lead captivating product presentations for footwear brand contacts.
  • Provide essential administrative and organizational support to ensure project efficiency.
  • Maintain meticulous documentation to craft a comprehensive project narrative.
  • Manage project budgets, resources, and schedules effectively.
  • Analyze market data to uncover trends and opportunities for product strategies.
  • Translate market research into actionable insights in collaboration with the marketing team.
  • Cultivate and nurture brand contacts and relationships.
  • Engage with local communities, sports teams, universities, and industry events for market insights.
  • Contribute to enhancing project management processes and tools.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of relevant project coordination experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Skilled in project management tools like Monday.com.
  • Familiarity with data visualization and analysis tools like Tableau is a plus.
  • Strong analytical abilities to interpret market data for product development strategies.

Nice-to-haves

  • Background in the Footwear sector, Material Science, Product Creation, Engineering, or Design.
  • Genuine passion for materials and products.
