About the position

The Project Coordinator role at Energy Transfer is essential for supporting the Business Optimization group in driving strategic enterprise initiatives through effective project management and collaboration. The position involves assisting with the planning, execution, and tracking of projects to ensure alignment with business objectives, working closely with Project Managers and stakeholders to deliver projects on time and within scope.

Responsibilities

  • Support Project Managers in planning and executing project activities across the project lifecycle, from initiation to closure
  • Maintain and update project schedules, ensuring all tasks are completed on time and within scope
  • Prepare and distribute project documentation, including status reports, meeting minutes, and project plans
  • Assist in the coordination of resources, equipment, and information necessary for project success
  • Communicate with project managers and stakeholders to provide updates on project status and gather requirements or feedback
  • Organize and facilitate project meetings, ensuring agendas are set, and follow-up actions are tracked
  • Track project risks and issues in RAID log or other essential project management tools
  • Provide administrative support as needed, including scheduling meetings, organizing files, and managing project-related correspondence
  • Collaborate with the broader Business Optimization team to ensure alignment with enterprise goals and objectives

Requirements

  • Experience in project coordination, administration, or a similar role
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and build strong working relationships
  • Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience working in a Project Management Office (PMO) or within an enterprise-level organization
  • Basic understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Waterfall, Agile)
  • Familiarity with enterprise tools like SharePoint, Visio, Microsoft Project, or SmartSheets
