About the position

Join our team at Bafang Dumpling, where we are excited to expand our presence in Southern California! As a Project Coordinator, you will play a vital role in our office administration team, working across various departments including Construction, Information Technologies, and Operations. This position is essential for ensuring the smooth operation and setup of our stores, which specialize in high-quality Taiwanese cuisine such as potstickers, dumplings, and noodles. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating with both internal and external vendors to manage all aspects of store operations and setup. This includes everything from documentation and process management to deployment. You will work closely with senior management to streamline processes and collaborate with cross-functional partners to ensure that all utilities and essential services are set up for new constructions. Your role will also involve acting as an internal consultant to support and improve service perspectives for stakeholders across the company. As a Project Coordinator, you will issue purchase orders and service requests to ensure timely setups at both new and existing store locations. You will support Operations management with any store-related setup and service requests, and help coordinate systems or processes to enhance efficiency for the project team. This position requires a proactive approach, as you will handle progressively independent project roles and lead company initiatives in all aspects of internal and external developments.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with inside and outside vendors on all aspects of a store's operation and setup.
  • Work closely with senior management on process management with service vendors.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners and departments.
  • Set up utilities and essential services for new construction, including payment processing, telephone, power, water, gas, and trash services.
  • Act as an internal consultant to represent, support, and improve service perspectives for stakeholders.
  • Issue purchase orders and service requests to ensure timely setup at new and existing store locations.
  • Support Operations management with store-related setup and service requests.
  • Help coordinate systems or processes to build efficiency for the project team.
  • Handle progressively independent project roles and lead company initiatives.

Requirements

  • Preferred Bachelor's degree.
  • Minimum of 1+ years in Construction, Information Technology, Operations, or similar project roles.
  • Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Strong sense of ownership and curiosity to learn new skills.
  • High attention to detail and ability to handle multiple priorities.
  • Ability to work independently and reliably.
