About the position

The Project Coordinator at UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital Oakland will support department leaders in developing, facilitating, and implementing various projects related to department-specific initiatives. This role involves collaboration with subject matter experts and process owners to ensure all project requirements and objectives are documented and communicated effectively.

Responsibilities

• Assist department leaders in developing and implementing various projects.
• Partner with subject matter and process owners to design and communicate project aspects.
• Ensure all project requirements and objectives are documented.
• Manage work-streams across functional groups.
• Develop and coordinate detailed work plans across work-streams.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree required; extensive relevant experience may be considered in lieu of education.
• Five years of experience in project management preferred.
• Strong organizational skills with a focus on high priorities despite interruptions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with all levels within the organization.
• Ability to tailor communications based on the informational needs of the intended audience.
• Effective problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.

Nice-to-haves

• Prior experience with HR Information Systems preferred.
