About the position

The Project Coordinator at Merakey is responsible for planning and overseeing projects to ensure timely completion and adherence to requirements. This role involves developing project plans, obtaining resources, monitoring progress, and maintaining communication with stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle. The position operates within a Project Management Office (PMO) and collaborates with other coordinators and managers to support enterprise projects.

Responsibilities

  • Assist and support project/activities management processes and initiatives.
  • Facilitate and manage meetings and conference calls to ensure completion of activities and projects.
  • Accountable for management of projects/activities from inception through completion.
  • Develop and maintain charters, work breakdown structures, tracking sheets, checklists, closure forms, and other applicable project management tools.
  • Establish, understand, and uphold project/activity timelines.
  • Analyze project/activity progress and performance, elevating and resolving issues as necessary.
  • Collaborate with staff from other departments to develop and execute project/activity work.
  • Utilize approved Project Management or Activity Management methodologies, tools, and software.
  • Create, update, and present project/activity/department dashboard reports.
  • Review operating practices and recommend improvements where needed.
  • Provide routine updates to management through reports and activity updates.
  • Conduct research and articulate findings concisely.
  • Conduct training as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business or human services field required.
  • 1 year of Project Management experience required; Master's degree preferred.
  • Demonstrated intermediate to advanced skills in the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Intermediate level proficiency with Teams, SurveyMonkey, Smartsheet, Zoom, and SharePoint.
