About The Position

The Project Coordinator (PC) at MCP Group plays a crucial role in the construction process by fostering relationships with trade partners to ensure the seamless integration of teams throughout the life of a construction project. This position is essential for assisting Project Managers and Superintendents with various administrative tasks that are vital for the successful execution of construction projects. The PC will be involved in the initial setup of projects within the company's systems, which includes processing subcontracts and purchase orders, collecting and tracking invoices, compiling owner billings, and completing project closeout activities. In this role, the Project Coordinator will be expected to communicate effectively with various stakeholders, ensuring that all parties are aligned and informed throughout the project lifecycle. The position requires a self-motivated individual who can manage and execute time-sensitive tasks with minimal supervision. Attention to detail is paramount, as the PC will be responsible for maintaining accurate records and documentation related to project finances and timelines. The work environment is described as high-energy and fast-paced, reflecting the dynamic nature of the construction industry. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional computer skills and experience in tracking budgets, which are critical for the role. While a background in construction is not mandatory, it is considered beneficial, as is familiarity with Procore, a construction management software. The Project Coordinator will be part of a multi-member team, contributing to the overall success of the projects undertaken by MCP Group.
