About the position

The Project Coordinator will support the operations and initiatives of the CDMRP Dept of Defense Spinal Cord Injury Research Program, specifically focusing on a research project aimed at improving cardiometabolic health in individuals with spinal cord injury through home-based interactive virtual gaming. This role is essential in managing various aspects of the research project, including participant recruitment, data management, and overall study coordination.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with participant recruitment
• Scheduling participant testing sessions
• Maintaining institutional review board approvals
• Clinical trials registration
• Determining participant eligibility and consenting
• Overseeing the virtual reality (VR) home deployment and participant communication
• Data entry and participant payments
• Training research personnel for data entry
• Ordering materials and supplies
• Overall study management of the proposed trial
• Assisting in delivering phone interview sessions as a backup
• Providing support for administrative tasks and report writing

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience
• 0-2 Years of Experience
