About the position

HGA's San Francisco Healthcare team is seeking talented Project Coordinators to join our dynamic group, where you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on healthcare projects in the San Francisco Bay Area. In this role, you will collaborate closely with Principals, Designers, Project Architects, and Project Managers to develop unique and complex design solutions tailored to our clients' needs. Your ability to assess the appropriate level of effort required to produce mid- to high-level renderings efficiently and promptly will be crucial to your success in this position. As a Project Coordinator, you will engage in various tasks that include developing concepts as defined by the Project Manager or Project Architect, producing construction documents in Revit, and ensuring quality control throughout the design process. You will also integrate and coordinate all disciplines involved in the building project, assist the Project Manager with schedules and budgets, and maintain professional communication with team leaders and members regarding workflow and timelines. This role offers multiple opportunities for client interaction, allowing you to contribute to our team's commitment to design excellence and quality across all project types. Additionally, you will be expected to seek creative and innovative solutions to assigned tasks, conducting appropriate research and documentation to support these solutions. Other duties may be assigned as necessary, providing you with a diverse range of experiences within the architectural field.

Responsibilities

  • Develop concepts as defined by Project Manager or Project Architect
  • Produce construction documents in Revit, including plans, sections, and details
  • Assist with quality control for the design function and integrate and coordinate all disciplines into the building project
  • Assist the Project Manager with schedules/budgets and provide communication as appropriate with team leaders and/or team members regarding workflow/timelines
  • Seek creative and innovative solutions to assigned tasks and develop appropriate research and documents to support these solutions
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture; Master's degree preferred
  • 5 to 7 years of experience required
  • Pursuing Architectural registration
  • Interest in working on medium to large-scale project types in a collaborative environment
  • Strong REVIT, 2D and 3D graphic skills; AutoCAD, SketchUp, Rhino, InDesign, and other BIM technology essential
  • Knowledge of permitting process
