MC Electric, operating as MC Contracting, has been a leader in providing exceptional general construction and electrical services in California for over 19 years. Recently expanding into Arizona, our company prides itself on a team of highly trained and dedicated professionals who work closely with clients to manage a variety of projects, including general contracting, electrical design, planning, installation, upgrades, and repairs. As a minority and woman-owned family-run business, we have established strong relationships with large clients such as T-Mobile, AT&T, Crown Castle, Tesla, SCE, and LG. The Project Coordinator will play a crucial role in ensuring that projects are coordinated and managed from start to finish, adhering to timelines and budget constraints. This position involves visiting multiple jurisdictions to pull necessary permits, collaborating with project team members to develop comprehensive project plans, and monitoring progress to provide regular updates to stakeholders. The Project Coordinator will also conduct regular meetings with team members to track progress, assist in maintaining project documentation, and ensure compliance with project specifications and requirements. In addition to managing project resources effectively to optimize productivity, the Project Coordinator will identify and mitigate potential risks that could impact project success while fostering positive working relationships with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work well under pressure to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage projects from start to finish, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
  • Collaborate with project team members to develop project plans, including timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
  • Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
  • Conduct regular meetings with project team members to track progress and address any issues or concerns.
  • Assist in the creation and maintenance of project documentation, including hiring employees.
  • Ensure compliance with project specifications and requirements.
  • Manage project resources effectively to optimize productivity and efficiency.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks or obstacles that may impact project success.
  • Foster positive working relationships with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.

Requirements

  • MUST HAVE CLEAN DMV, BE ABLE TO PASS A BACKGROUND CHECK AND DRUG TEST.
  • Proven (2-3 years experience) Project Coordinator or similar role.
  • Prefer someone with Construction experience in Telecommunication or Electric Vehicle Industry.
  • AA or Bachelor's in Administration (preferred).
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and schematics.
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
