About the position

Parsons Corporation is seeking a Project Coordinator to assist Project Managers and the Logistics Team in the management of complex technical security system projects. This role is crucial in ensuring that projects are executed efficiently and effectively, contributing to the overall success of our Federal Solutions segment. The Project Coordinator will be responsible for a variety of tasks that support the logistics and operational aspects of project management, particularly in high-stakes environments. The position requires a strong understanding of project plans and construction-related schedules, as well as the ability to communicate effectively with multiple stakeholders. The work environment is dynamic and may involve physical demands, particularly in warehouse settings. The candidate must be a US citizen and possess a minimum of a SECRET level clearance, or the ability to obtain and maintain such clearance. This role is based in Alexandria, VA and Sterling, VA, with the possibility of travel to high-threat posts as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Comprehend project plans and complex construction-related schedules.
  • Review construction-related bill of materials.
  • Perform data entry into the purchase requisition system.
  • Track and report on the status of material requisitions.
  • Track and report on the status of shipments.
  • Maintain and track high dollar value asset inventory.
  • Effectively communicate and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
  • Monitor and report on construction project schedules.
  • Complete required reporting and project documentation.
  • Work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Work in a physically demanding warehouse environment.
  • Operate a forklift once trained and licensed.
  • Unload, inventory, and stage material at DoS posts around the world.

Requirements

  • High school/GED equivalent plus relevant experience.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  • CMMS experience.
  • ILMS experience.
  • Logistics experience.
  • Warehouse experience.
