About the position

HealthEdge Software Inc is seeking a Project Coordinator to assist Project Managers in organizing ongoing projects. This role is crucial for monitoring project plans, schedules, work hours, budgets, and expenditures. The Project Coordinator will be responsible for organizing and participating in stakeholder meetings, ensuring that project deadlines are met, and documenting important actions and decisions from these meetings. The position requires the preparation of necessary presentation materials and the ability to determine project changes as they arise. Additionally, the Project Coordinator will provide administrative support as needed and undertake various project tasks to ensure the smooth execution of projects. The Global Professional Services team at HealthEdge supports customer-funded service delivery initiatives that are separate from standard SaaS license support activities. This includes customer implementations, business expansion, and optimization initiatives. The Project Coordinator will play a vital role in developing project strategies, ensuring adherence to frameworks, and maintaining appropriate documentation for each project. Assessing project risks and issues and providing solutions will also be part of the responsibilities, along with managing stakeholder views towards the best solutions. The role may involve chairing and facilitating meetings, distributing minutes to all project team members, and ensuring that all project-related activities are conducted efficiently and effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and monitor project plans, project schedules, work hours, budgets, and expenditures.
  • Organize, attend, and participate in stakeholder meetings.
  • Document and follow up on important actions and decisions from meetings.
  • Prepare necessary presentation materials for meetings.
  • Ensure project deadlines are met.
  • Determine project changes.
  • Provide administrative support as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 3 years' experience in project management coordination preferred.
  • Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • MS Project experience preferred.
  • OpenAir experience preferred.
  • Smartsheet experience preferred.
  • Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of file management, transcription, and other administrative procedures.
  • Ability to work on tight deadlines.
