About the position

The Project Coordinator at Tridvalidation in Atlanta, GA, plays a crucial role in supporting project management activities for the NextGen Project. This position is responsible for coordinating, scheduling, and attending project-related meetings, ensuring that all necessary documentation is accurately transcribed and disseminated. The Project Coordinator will document, track, and receive project documentation and deliverables, ensuring that all project activities are completed in a timely manner. This role requires effective communication with project team members to share relevant information and updates regarding project activities. In addition to meeting coordination, the Project Coordinator will document and track project risks, issues, action items, and decisions as part of the overall project management process. The individual will assist the Project Manager (PM) in developing necessary documents, presentations, or reports, and will follow up on project statuses, updating the project tracking system with pertinent information. The role also involves creating project-related reports from the project work breakdown structure and working closely with PMs to document project scope and high-level requirements. The Project Coordinator will coordinate quality review and steering committee meetings for the NextGen Project, capturing notes and action items to disseminate as appropriate. It is essential for the Project Coordinator to ensure that all project-related artifacts are stored in the proper location within the NextGen Project SharePoint site. Additionally, the individual will assist in tracking, monitoring, and communicating project-related issues, scope changes, variances, and contingencies that may arise during the implementation of the NextGen Project. Maintaining effective communication and working relationships with project team members is vital for the success of this role, along with other responsibilities that may be assigned at management's discretion.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinates, schedules, and attends project related meetings.
  • Transcribes and disseminates project meeting minutes.
  • Documents, tracks and receives project documentation and deliverables.
  • Sends follow-ups as necessary to ensure project activities are completed in a timely manner.
  • Shares information and updates with project team members as relevant to project activities.
  • Documents and tracks project risks, issues, action items and decisions as part of the project management activities.
  • Assists PM in developing necessary documents, presentations or reports.
  • Follows-up and tracks project statuses and updates the project tracking system with pertinent information.
  • Creates project related reports from the project work breakdown structure.
  • Works with PMs on documenting project scope and high-level requirements.
  • Disseminates information related to project schedules.
  • Coordinates NextGen quality review and steering committee meetings, capturing notes and action items and disseminating as appropriate.
  • Ensures all project related artifacts are stored in the proper location within the NextGen Project SharePoint site.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field from an accredited college or university AND one year of IT related experience.
  • OR Associate's degree in a related field from an accredited college or university and three years of IT related experience.
  • An equivalent combination of education and job specific experience that provided the knowledge, experience and competencies required to successfully perform the job at the level listed may be substituted on a year-over-year basis.

Nice-to-haves
