About the position

Cetera Financial Group is currently seeking a Project Coordinator to support Cetera's Investment Solutions Group, which is responsible for the development and management of Cetera's Advisory platforms and investment programs. This is a hybrid role, requiring the individual to work one day a week in our San Diego, CA office. The Project Coordinator will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the department by planning and organizing meetings and events, managing calendars, and scheduling meetings for team members and leadership. The position involves interacting with a diverse group of important external callers, visitors, and internal contacts at all levels of the organization, which requires exceptional communication skills and professionalism. In this role, the Project Coordinator will assist with troubleshooting operational and administrative items, create and update routine spreadsheets, and prepare presentations and other documents. The individual will also be responsible for answering routine correspondence and assembling information that may occasionally be of a confidential and sensitive nature. Additional responsibilities include making travel arrangements, processing expense reports, handling department invoices, ordering supplies, making copies, filing department documents, and taking meeting notes. The Project Coordinator must be able to juggle multiple priorities simultaneously and work effectively under pressure, demonstrating strong organizational and time management skills. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, along with at least 3 years of related support experience. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams, is essential. The candidate should possess exceptional attention to detail, superior verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to analyze complex information requests. Sound judgment and problem-solving abilities are crucial, as is the ability to exercise discretion in interactions with various constituencies. Responsibilities

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 3+ years of related support experience

  • Superior verbal and written communication skills, including editing and proofreading
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously
