About the position

The Project Coordinator will support portfolio-wide activities and processes for the Americas Instrumentation & Controls Systems (ICS) organization at Westinghouse Electric Company. This role is essential for tracking, coordinating, and driving general project portfolio activities, ensuring safety and quality are prioritized. The position offers opportunities for growth within project management and requires strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety and quality are the primary focus on all project activities
• Track and coordinate recurring reports from/to project managers
• Track recurring general project processes such as monthly EAC confirmations and quarterly SOX addendums
• Assist project managers with risk management analysis and tracking
• Communicate and coordinate operating experience and lessons learned
• Coordinate Monthly Project Status Reviews (MPSR)
• Develop process mapping and templates
• Support project managers during times of increased demand
• Perform other project coordination duties as requested

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, Business, or related field
• Project Management or Project Coordination experience preferred but not required
• PMI Project Management Professional (PMP®) certification desired but not required
• Understanding of nuclear I&C systems, applications, and processes
• Ability to take accountability and work with a strong sense of urgency
• Effective presentation skills and strong communication skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Experience with Microsoft® Office tools is critical
