About the position

The Project Coordinator at J. J. Keller & Associates, Inc. plays a crucial role in the Vehicle Legalization department, focusing on facilitating vehicle compliance for customers. This position involves daily interactions with various stakeholders, including clients, states, vendors, and internal teams, to ensure a positive customer experience and the successful completion of regulatory tasks such as vehicle titling, registration, and fuel tax compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients regarding Vehicle Legalization services.
  • Advise clients on regulatory requirements and actions needed to improve compliance levels.
  • Collaborate with Sales Associates to enhance the client experience from point of sale through service delivery.
  • Facilitate the timely implementation of services according to clients' objectives and contracted projects.
  • Initiate and complete work orders for various vehicle services, including state applications and renewals.
  • Complete system configuration and data migration services based on client needs.
  • Provide clients with information and resources for complex projects, including custom configurations and reports.
  • Maintain an expert-level understanding of vehicle-related regulations and share knowledge with clients and internal partners.
  • Build a network of resources within the industry to troubleshoot issues at state and federal levels.
  • Make recommendations for service improvements and new service ideas based on client feedback.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of total office experience.
  • High school graduate or GED; post-secondary education in a business-related field preferred.
  • Proficiency in MS Word and intermediate Excel skills.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, communication, and critical thinking skills.
  • Knowledge of FMCSR regulations is desirable.
  • Effective verbal, written, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to apply regulatory knowledge in various situations.
  • Independent decision-making skills.
