About the position

HealthEdge Software Inc is seeking a Project Coordinator to assist our Project Managers in organizing ongoing projects. This role is crucial in ensuring that project plans, schedules, work hours, budgets, and expenditures are monitored effectively. The Project Coordinator will be responsible for organizing and participating in stakeholder meetings, documenting important actions and decisions, and preparing necessary presentation materials. The successful candidate will ensure that project deadlines are met and will be involved in determining project changes as needed. Additionally, the Project Coordinator will provide administrative support, undertake project tasks, and develop project strategies while ensuring adherence to frameworks and proper documentation for each project. The Project Coordinator will also assess project risks and issues, providing solutions where applicable, and will manage stakeholder views towards the best solutions. This position requires the ability to chair and facilitate meetings, distributing minutes to all project team members. The role is designed for someone who can work effectively both independently and as part of a team, with a strong emphasis on communication skills and the ability to work under tight deadlines. HealthEdge's Global Professional Services team supports customer-funded service delivery initiatives, which include customer implementations, business expansion, and optimization initiatives. Responsibilities

  • Maintain and monitor project plans, project schedules, work hours, budgets, and expenditures.
  • Organize, attend, and participate in stakeholder meetings.
  • Document and follow up on important actions and decisions from meetings.
  • Prepare necessary presentation materials for meetings.
  • Ensure project deadlines are met.
  • Determine project changes.
  • Provide administrative support as needed.
  • Undertake project tasks as required.
  • Develop project strategies.
  • Ensure projects adhere to frameworks and all documentation is maintained appropriately for each project.
  • Assess project risks and issues and provide solutions where applicable.
  • Ensure stakeholder views are managed towards the best solution.
  • Chair and facilitate meetings where appropriate and distribute minutes to all project team members.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 3 years' experience in project management coordination preferred.
  • Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • MS Project experience preferred.
  • OpenAir experience preferred.
  • Smartsheet experience preferred.
  • Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of file management, transcription, and other administrative procedures.
  • Ability to work on tight deadlines.
