As a Project Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in facilitating and coordinating the work of multiple project teams. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and removing barriers to the successful completion of projects, particularly in resolving issues with subcontractors. You will provide timely project status updates to Project Managers and escalate unresolved issues for Cabinet resolution. Additionally, you will maintain and update the company database, generate customized reports, and utilize advanced Excel functions such as VLOOKUP. Your responsibilities will also include creating and tracking contracts, purchase orders, and submittals, as well as completing project close-out manuals. You will serve as the primary point of contact with external vendor representatives and functional consultants, handling all correspondence between the general contractor, owner, architect, and subcontractors. Responsibilities

  • Facilitate and coordinate the work of multiple project teams.
  • Identify and work to remove barriers to successful project completion, focusing on subcontractor issues.
  • Provide timely project status updates to Project Managers and escalate unresolved issues.
  • Maintain and update the company database.
  • Generate customized reports and pivot tables, utilizing VLOOKUP functionality.
  • Create and track contracts, purchase orders, and submittals, and complete project close-out manuals.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact with external vendor representatives and functional consultants.
  • Handle all correspondence between the general contractor, owner, architect, and subcontractors.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or 5 years of equivalent work experience.
  • Project management skills with the ability to resolve complex problems.
  • Strong experience with Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Construction background and purchasing experience.
  • Experience with Norad and Oracle is a plus.
  • Telecom experience is preferred.
  • Smartsheet experience is strongly preferred.
  • Ability to organize resources, establish priorities, and work effectively in a collaborative team environment.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with advanced Excel functions such as VLOOKUP.
  • Experience in generating customized reports and pivot tables.
