About the position

ZLA Solutions, Inc. is seeking to hire a Project Coordinator for a production client in Clanton, MS. The Project Coordinator will be responsible for the setup and coordination of all shop floor jobs, ensuring compliance with ISO 9001, IATF 16949, and customer-specific requirements. This role requires establishing work standards driven by customer requirements and company guidelines, as well as training inspectors to adhere to standardized Work Instructions. The Project Coordinator will evaluate and modify work instructions as necessary and serve as a customer liaison on assigned jobs. Additionally, this position may involve serving as a project manager for customers who request detailed engineering and consulting expertise. The Project Coordinator will also fulfill quality operating processes in handling reject/non-conforming/scrap materials and coordinate activities with logistics to ensure proper material flow. Required audits, such as layered process audits, will be performed for process validation, and the coordinator will coordinate data analysis activities related to activity and data reports. Supervising and training inspectors is also a key responsibility of this role.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED (required).
  • Some college education (preferred).
  • 2 years of quality-related experience in manufacturing (required).
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
  • Ability to read and understand prints and non-technical documents as they relate to quality functions.

Nice-to-haves

  • Industrial Engineering background (a plus).
  • Willingness to travel up to 60 miles.
  • Ability to manage multiple accounts.
