About the position

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Project Coordinator to join our team at Prestige Homecare. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the planning, execution, and completion of construction projects. This position requires strong organizational skills, effective communication, and a solid understanding of construction management processes. The Project Coordinator will work closely with project managers and various stakeholders to ensure that projects are delivered on time and within scope.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the coordination of project activities, ensuring adherence to timelines and project milestones.
  • Utilize construction management software to track project progress and documentation.
  • Collaborate with team members to develop and maintain project schedules, including schematics and blueprints.
  • Support the preparation of construction estimates by gathering necessary data and documentation.
  • Facilitate communication between project teams, subcontractors, and clients to ensure alignment on project goals.
  • Monitor project site activities to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
  • Organize project meetings, prepare agendas, and document meeting minutes for distribution.
  • Manage time effectively to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in project coordination or related field within the construction industry.
  • Familiarity with insurance restoration software such as Xactimate, Dash, Encircle, is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of construction site operations, including blueprint reading and schematics.
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of construction estimating processes is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on teamwork.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities are essential for success in this role.
  • A degree in Construction Management or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with construction management software for at least 3 years.
  • Knowledge of construction estimating processes.
