About the position

The Project Coordinator role at Quanta involves ensuring quality control for work orders, tracking their status, and coordinating various construction-related administrative tasks. This position requires collaboration with project managers and other departments to ensure work orders are ready for construction, while also managing timelines and addressing customer concerns. The role is essential for maintaining high standards of service and effective project execution.

Responsibilities

  • Review, analyze, and revise submitted work orders to ensure proper task setup in the client's software system.
  • Coordinate daily and weekly work schedules by project phase and provide schedules to IFS Representatives for Prior Notification Process.
  • Report daily work plans and locations as required for utility commission reporting.
  • Participate in pre-construction planning and coordination meetings.
  • Obtain Municipal and Regulatory permits, including providing necessary documents for procurement.
  • Prepare documentation for project close-out processes as requested.
  • Address and resolve customer complaints and issues promptly with field personnel.
  • Coordinate and manage Contractors utility locating and locate ticket process.
  • Ensure Right of Way restoration activities meet municipal requirements and private property restoration is satisfactory.
  • Manage Security Background Check requirements for contract crew members.
  • Ensure timely submissions to keep work orders progressing forward.
  • Complete other administrative duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Ability to demonstrate initiative and assertiveness in managing work efficiently.
  • Highly motivated, well organized, resourceful, and proactive with a team-oriented style.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Visio) and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving experience with the ability to multi-task.
  • Well-developed written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present information effectively.
  • Valid driver's license and safe driving record required.
  • Associate's degree and/or 2+ years of relevant experience in an office setting.
