This part-time position plays a crucial role in supporting project management activities, ensuring that all aspects of construction projects are executed efficiently and effectively. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining a focus on quality and deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the planning and execution of construction projects from inception to completion.
  • Coordinate project schedules, resources, equipment, and information.
  • Monitor project progress and handle any issues that arise during the construction process.
  • Collaborate with operations and superintendent to ensure project goals are met.
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation using software tools such as Bluebeam to submit proper billing.
  • Conduct construction estimating to assess project costs and budgets.
  • Utilize software for scheduling tasks and tracking project timelines.
  • Keep proper equipment and material documentation.
  • Support the team in managing contracts and procurement processes.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in project coordination or management within the construction industry is preferred.
  • Proficiency in software applications.
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to facilitate collaboration among team members.
