About the position

The Project Coordinator (PC) at Sunset Signs And Printing Inc. plays a crucial role in supporting Project Managers by acting as a liaison between them and various stakeholders. This position requires a solid understanding of the sign industry, including the processes of sign fabrication and installation, to effectively manage project documentation and ensure compliance with local regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Review and familiarize with the scope of all active projects, including deliverables and schedules.
  • Attend Kick-Off Meetings (KOMs) and weekly status meetings, documenting and following up on action items.
  • Provide required documentation for Project Managers, including Landlord Approval Letters and permit application documents.
  • Oversee and coordinate the documentation required to obtain municipal permits, including processing applications and coordinating schedules for in-person visits.
  • Perform code checks to ensure compliance with local ordinances regarding sign placement and sizing.
  • Conduct regular audits of existing projects to confirm status and report potential delays or issues to Project Managers.
  • Track all jobs through internal software and communicate progress with stakeholders.
  • Arrange shipments through logistics providers and coordinate product pick-up with clients.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED or relevant experience.
  • 1-2 years of work experience in any field.
