About the position

DH Pace Company is seeking an Entry-Level Project Coordinator to join our team in Denver, CO. This role is crucial in the commercial construction industry, specifically focusing on doors, frames, and hardware. The Project Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring that project objectives are met within the specified timeline and budget. This involves effective planning, directing, and coordinating various activities related to the projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. In this position, the Project Coordinator will review project plans and specifications to determine the necessary materials, schedule, budget parameters, and staffing requirements. They will also establish a work plan outline with the staff, assigning duties and providing technical advice as needed. The role requires directing and coordinating activities to ensure that projects remain on schedule and within budget. The Project Coordinator will review status reports prepared by the staff and make necessary adjustments to keep the project on track. Additionally, the Project Coordinator will manage customer communications, ensure compliance with site safety requirements, and maintain projected installation dates, timelines, and deadlines. This position may also involve other duties as assigned, making it essential for the candidate to be adaptable and proactive in their approach to project management.

Responsibilities

  • Review project plans and specifications to determine materials, schedule, budget parameters, staffing requirements, and allotment of available resources for the various phases of the project.
  • Discuss and establish work plan outline with staff; assign duties, scope of authority, and provide technical advice/trouble-shooting.
  • Direct and coordinate activities to ensure project is on schedule and within budgeted scope; review status reports prepared by staff and make changes where needed.
  • Manage customer communication, site safety requirements, maintaining projected installation dates, timelines, and deadlines.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree is desired; however, all experience and qualifications will be evaluated.
  • Must have detailed knowledge of Microsoft Office.
