About the position

The Project Coordinator position is a full-time role based at 24640 South Main Street, Carson, CA 90745, with a pay range of $22 to $28 per hour. This position reports directly to the Office Manager and involves close collaboration with various departments including Sales & Marketing, Operations, Accounting, and Transportation. The Project Coordinator serves as a vital liaison between clients and company operations, ensuring that all aspects of domestic, international, residential, and commercial projects are managed effectively. The role requires occasional travel to job sites for coordinating the delivery and installation of projects. The Project Coordinator must operate in compliance with the company's policies and procedures and may be required to work after business hours and on weekends to meet project deadlines. The ability to work under pressure is essential, as is proficiency in the MS Office Suite, particularly in data entry and organizational skills. Key responsibilities include maintaining accurate records of incoming and outgoing merchandise and client inventory, keeping abreast of production schedules, shipping alerts, and inventory updates, and preparing shipping documents for projects outside of the market. The Project Coordinator must also manage multiple clients, vendors, and projects simultaneously, ensuring that all tasks are prioritized to maintain a smooth workflow. Problem-solving skills are crucial, as the coordinator must resolve issues on-site as they arise during installations. Effective communication with clients and team members is necessary to ascertain project needs and address any concerns. Additionally, the coordinator must possess budgeting skills to accurately estimate jobs and bill clients in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the liaison between the client and company operations.
  • Manage all aspects of domestic, international, residential, and/or commercial projects.
  • Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing merchandise and client inventory.
  • Keep abreast of production schedules, shipping alerts, and inventory updates.
  • Prepare domestic and international shipping documents for projects outside of the market.
  • Generate company documents with utmost accuracy.
  • Manage projects/jobs to meet client time restrictions and project deadlines.
  • Handle several clients, vendors, and projects simultaneously.
  • Resolve problems on the spot as they arise during installations.
  • Communicate clearly with clients and team members regarding project needs and requirements.
  • Accurately estimate jobs/projects and calculate charges to bill clients in a timely manner.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree preferred.
  • 1 year of experience in logistics required.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite with proven experience in data entry.
  • Strong organizational skills.
