About the position

The Construction Project Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring compliance with corporate document conventions and facilitating effective communication between Project Managers and other stakeholders. This role involves managing document distribution systems, expediting the review and approval of project documents, and supporting the organization and storage of project documentation throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities

  • Liaise with Project Managers to establish document distribution plans.
  • Maintain document distribution systems and schedules.
  • Expedite review, approval, and distribution of supplier and internally produced project documents.
  • Establish and maintain electronic indices of project documents.
  • Support the preparation of transmittals of engineering and procurement documents.
  • Arrange cataloging, packaging, long-term storage, and disposal of project documents at the time of project closeout.

Requirements

  • 2-5 years of experience in handling RFIs, submittals, change orders, contracts, invoicing, billing, and scheduling for construction projects.
  • Strong organizational skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Ability to handle pressure and maintain a thick skin.
