About the position

The HART Project Coordinator II will support the PMO Team in implementing the PMO framework, focusing on standardized processes, tools, and methodologies for project and program management. This role involves managing work plans, resources, issues, risks, and financial tracking, while providing ongoing project management support for key initiatives aligned with the Authority's strategic goals.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in establishing and implementing project management processes and methodologies for the Enterprise.
  • Maintain and update project management framework and disciplines for the HART PMO.
  • Maintain project documentation, plans, and reports, including risk/opportunity registers and financial status reports.
  • Coordinate activities, resources, equipment, and information for project teams.
  • Assemble project plans and teamwork assignments, directing and monitoring daily work efforts.
  • Track key project milestones and adjust plans/resources as needed.
  • Assist PMO Director and other PMs in tracking and reporting project portfolio performance.
  • Facilitate collaborative project management processes with contractors, managers, and staff.
  • Upload/download documentation to/from PMO SharePoint site, ensuring documentation is up to date.
  • Coordinate and manage special projects as assigned by the PMO Director.

Requirements

  • Associate's Degree in a related field such as project management, business administration, or public administration, or two years of related experience for each year of college requirement.
  • Two years of related field experience in public sector business administration or project management.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and SharePoint.
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies and tools, resource management practices, and change management techniques.

Nice-to-haves

  • Five years of progressive related field experience in public sector business administration or project management.
  • Project Management certification or completion of a recognized project management curriculum.
